School pupils help victims

A LORRY-load of clothes, blankets and tents collected by pupils at a city primary school will soon be making its way to Lahore in Pakistan to support victims of the devastating floods.

Pupils at Sciennes Primary School also collected more than 3,000 at a fundraising event.

Head teacher Alison Noble said: "Within a few days of returning after the summer holidays, pupils and parents were discussing how the school could do something in support of the millions of people in Pakistan affected by the floods."
