School choir makes finals

A LOTHIANS school choir is to compete in the national finals of a competition.

Pupils from Bankton Primary in Livingston are to head to London’s Barbican Centre for the Barnado’s Festival Choir Competition and Concert on March 6. The group qualified after recording two songs on a CD before Christmas.

Headteacher Marlyn Taylor said: “The children have worked really hard for their success and this will be a truly unforgettable experience.”
