School bands to join forces

Helping to kick off the New Year in West Lothian will be two school bands which are teaming up for a musical celebration concert.

The special event will see the West Lothian School Folk Band and West Lothian Schools Brass Band put on a show at The Regal Community Theatre, North Bridge Street, Bathgate, on Sunday, January 8, from 6pm.

The show will see some of the county’s most talented young musicians bring together the best in both styles of music.
