Scheme stumps up funding

COUNCILLOR Deidre Brock, convener of culture and leisure, is bowled over by the cricket skills of Neve Cleland, nine, from Flora Stevenson Primary in Inverleith as she announces details of Pathways to Sport, a new funding scheme for sport clubs.

Activcity is working in partnership with Active Schools and ClubSportEdinburgh to encourage Edinburgh sports clubs to create stronger links with local schools. Grants of up to 1000 are available to support projects.
