Sainsbury's finds a way

SUPERMARKET giant Sainsbury's has scrapped plans not to deliver groceries to thousands of homes during the Edinburgh Festival.

The supermarket had sent out e-mails to customers saying they would not be able to deliver to homes with EH11 and EH12 postcodes - although they later admitted they had meant EH1(1) and EH1(2) postcodes - due to heavy congestion caused by the month-long event.

Now, the supermarket says it has found a way to deliver to all homes throughout Edinburgh.
