Germany has grounded its 55 Eurofighter jets because of concerns that their ejector seats may not function properly.

A Defence Ministry spokesman said that Germany acted after another country that uses the plane reported the issue to a Nato body. He didn't identify the nation.
The Eurofighter is flown by Germany, the UK, Spain, Italy and Austria.
