Runaway sheep causes traffic jam on motorway
Traffic on the M9 was snarled today by reports of a sheep on the carriageway.
Traffic Scotland tweeted at around half past noon that all lanes in both directions at junction 10 were restricted because of the animal in the way of southbound cars.
However, the interruption was brief, with traffic returning to normal within 45 minutes.
“#edintravel *good news* at the #M9 at #J10 as sheep is no longer on road and traffic has returned to normal”, Traffic Scotland tweeted.
