Royal treat for palace visitors

LINLITHGOW Palace is hoping to attract families during the summer break by unveiling a range of historical treasures and events.

Visitors are being urged to see the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots.

The palace will run "living history performances" during weekends until the end of August.

People can learn about palace etiquette and from a range of colourful characters as well as learning dancing and enjoying renaissance theatre and music.
