Rotary hopes students will come round to appeal

THE Capital's new Rotary Club is appealing to youngsters and students to join the ranks of the organisation.

The Liberton club hopes to offer younger members the chance to gain fundraising and work experience while supporting worthy causes.

The club's Pauline Calder said: "We are hoping to see more young people join the club and shake off the image that we're all bankers and lawyers."

The club will be fundraising at Cameron Toll on 12 June for Olivia Giles's 500 Miles charity from 10am-6pm.
