Rooney sheds bald look with £30,000 hair transplant

WAYNE Rooney, the England and Manchester United striker, has released a picture revealing the effects of the £30,000 hair transplant treatment he has undergone in a bid to restore his receding locks.

Rooney, 25, had been spotted emerging from the Queen Anne Street Medical Centre off Harley Street in London last Thursday wearing a baseball cap and hoodie, before being driven away.

Posting the picture on his Twitter account, he told his 780,000 followers: "Just to confirm to all my followers I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25 why not. I'm delighted with the result…"

He and wife Colleen have now gone on holiday to Barbados.
