Romanov takes plunge in memory of K-19 victims

Hearts owner Vladmir Romanov emerges from the water after taking part in an event at Loch Ness to mark the 50th anniversary the deaths of eight crew members on a Russian nuclear submarine.

Captain Oleg Adamov, the last man to command the submarine K-19, on which Romanov served, spoke of his pride and sadness after he swam across the loch in memory of his comrades

The men died as result of exposure to lethal doses of radiation during emergency repairs in the reactor compartment in 1961.
