Roll with it at gymnast trial

BUDDING gymnasts are being invited to tumble on down to the Port Seton Centre in East Lothian today for trials for a dance and gymnastics academy.

Those who impress in the auditions will be included in the display team of the East Lothian Gymnastics Academy, which insists its members perform at least twice a year.

Trials take place today from 4pm, with classes running every Saturday at the Port Seton Centre from 1.30pm to 2.30pm and at the Loch Centre, Tranent, from noon until 1pm.

East Lothian Gymnastics Academy was established in 2008 by Hayley and Stacey McDonald as a non-profit organisation and has seen its popularity soar.

It is hoped that a senior team can be set up at the club this year.
