Rock star's manager jailed for hit and run

THE manager of rock star Pete Doherty was jailed for 12 months yesterday after a court heard he ran into a pedestrian then drove off at speed.

Andrew Boyd, 42, of Camden, London, admitted a string of motoring offences at Ipswich Crown Court, including failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
