Robin meets budding young artists

FORMER Green MSP Robin Harper met children at Craiglockhart Primary School after they designed a poster for Polwarth Parish Church’s Spring Fling.

Mr Harper – the first ever Green to be elected to the Scottish Parliament – made a presentation to primary two pupils, thanking them for their efforts.

The Spring Fling, which takes place on Saturday, is designed to showcase interesting, useful and fun activities which exist in the community, particularly for older people.

The free event runs at the church, in Polwarth Terrace, from 10am until 3pm.

Admission is free and there will be a cafe.
