Robin eggs on farmers' market

GORGIE City Farm's first farmers' market was opened by MSP Robin Harper on Saturday.

Meat, fruit, vegetables, cheese, chocolate and soap were among the items on offer at the event.

Mr Harper, pictured with Louise Rennie of Edenwater Eggs, said: "I have been following the fortunes of the Gorgie City Farm for more than a decade, and am so pleased to see the continuous improvement that's taken place over those years."

The farmers' market will run on the third Saturday of every month, from 9.30am-2pm.
