Road closes for repairs

A WEST Lothian road is to close for almost two months to allow carriageway resurfacing and drainage works to be carried out.

A section of the A706 from Linlithgow to Torphichen will shut from 8am on May 3 to July 1.

The road will be closed between Woodcockdale Farm and the junction with the B792.

A diversion route will be available via the A803 to Lathallan roundabout, the A801 to Avon Gorge and the A706.
