RMJM: The departed

THE list of the latest RMJM departures features a string of well-known names in the architecture world.

RMJM insists its Hong Kong office has grown over the past six months, but it emerged last week that Asia director Barry Shapiro has already departed, while managing principal Ross Milne, and design directors Scott Findley, Ted Givens and Demi Lee are now thought to have gone.

In the US, principals Phil Palmgreen and Phil Dordai have left.

Cambridge-based Peter Williams, Europe principal at RMJM, is set to leave, along with his director colleague Murdoch Cameron

Design principal Gordon Griffin, who has worked at the company since 1972, mainly in the Princeton office, has also left, as has Dubai director Martyn Wild.
