Reward in seal deaths case

AN ANIMAL charity yesterday posted a £1,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the gunman who was responsible for the deaths of six seals on Shetland.

Two of the common seals were females carrying full-term pups. The bodies were found at Mara Ness, Bridge of Walls, on the west coast of the mainland.

The animal charity Peta said it was offering a 1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the culprit.
