Revamp for care homes complaints

A CITY care provider is to overhaul the way it deals with
complaints.

Bield, which has 16 property complexes across the Capital and offers services including retirement housing, day care, sheltered housing and care homes, said the new process had been simplified and more accessible.

The changes reflect a model developed by the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman. The procedure has seen the number of stages in the complaints process reduced and also gives the option for customers to make a complaint to other
bodies.
