Retail park sold for £24m

A RETAIL park in the Lothians has been snapped up by an investor for £24.5 million.

Orchard Street Investment Management has completed the purchase of Straiton Retail Park from the BA Pension Fund.

The park features Laura Ashley, TK Maxx, Dunelm Mill, Carphone Warehouse, Poundworld and Dreams and is near Ikea and a Sainsbury’s supermarket.

Chris Bartram, chairman at Orchard Street, said “Open planning consent, proven market rents, strong covenants and strong demographics mean the park trades exceptionally well.”
