Retail honour for craft shop

AN INDEPENDENT craft shop in Polbeth, West Lothian, has been voted craft retailer of the year for Scotland.

Just Create was set up by sisters Michele Elder, 51, and Natalie Cutler, 50, who opened in November 2007 with no previous retail experience. They offer classes in jewellery making, card making and scrapbooking.

They won the award at the Origin Craft Awards held at the NEC in Birmingham.

Ms Cutler said: "We aim to make visiting our shop a positive experience and our classes fun and engaging."
