Restaurants are hot stuff

THREE Edinburgh restaurants have been named among the best in the British Curry Awards.

Britannia Spice and Mya in Commercial Street and Lancers Brasserie in Hamilton Place were among 56 restaurants nationwide to make it through to the finals of the awards.

They were each runners-up in the category for Best Curry Restaurant in Scotland. Almost 3500 restaurants, more than one-third of the UK total, received at least one public nomination in the awards.
