Restaurant serves up new business chance

A RESTAURANT close to the Usher Hall has been put on the market.

Property firms have launched the hunt for a new tenant for the Stac Polly restaurant on Grindlay Street.

Barry McNeil, associate director at Christie & Co, which is marketing the property, said: "Together with its sister sites in St Mary's Street and Dublin Street, Stac Polly has been somewhat of an institution but (the owner] believes the time is now right to move on.

"We will be marketing it on a de-branded basis and our client is granting a new lease to prospective tenants.

"We have been very successful securing new tenants for a number of restaurant sites in the Capital over the last three to four months. We feel confident that we'll be able to continue this trend."
