Restaurant to feed homeless

An restaurant in the Capital is to hand out free plates of pasta to the homeless this Christmas.

The festive gesture has been made by Mario Gagliardini, owner of the Locanda De Gusti on Broughton Street.

“Christmas is the season of goodwill and I thought, why not?”

The pasta will be dished out from 3.30pm to 5.30pm on Sunday, December 18.

Diners will be able eat as normal by entering the restaurant through a separate door.
