Resort plan for farmland

A DEVELOPER has put forward plans to create a holiday resort on farmland in the Lothians.

Falkirk-based George Russell Construction Ltd has submitted proposals to build four holiday cottages, as well as a coffee and gift shop.

The new development would be built on land at Soutra Mains Farm near Pathhead in Midlothian.

The buildings would be erected on agricultural land and nearby residents have been informed about the proposals.
