Residents help to save lives
Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF) has received more than £41,500 from residents in the city.
The money will go towards a £1 million fund for its emergency work in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia and South Sudan.

Hide AdSCIAF’s Lorraine Currie said: “SCIAF is extremely grateful for the overwhelming response we have had from the public in Edinburgh to our Horn and east Africa emergency appeal.
“Unfortunately the situation is unlikely to improve in the short term but we will continue to work with vulnerable communities for as long as it takes. This would not be possible without the fantastic support we are receiving.”
