Registration call to voters

The Electoral Registration Officer is urging Lothian voters to ensure they are registered to vote in time for the Scottish Parliament elections on May 5.

"Registering to vote is quick and easy but if you're not registered by Friday, April 15 you'll miss out on your chance to have your say in the Scottish Parliament election and also the referendum on the voting system for elections to the UK Parliament," said Joan Hewton.

"By calling 0131-344 2500 or printing off the form from www.lothian-vjb.gov.uk you can make sure you're all set."
