Reformation manuscripts go on display city

KEY historic manuscripts from the Scottish Reformation have gone on show in Edinburgh.

A new display at the National Library of Scotland on George IV Bridge includes documents and letters from the time of Scotland's break with the papacy and the establishment of Protestantism. Among them are John Knox's "Scottish Confession of Faith" and his "First Blast of the Trumpet against the Monstrous Regiment of Women.

The exhibition, marking the 450th anniversary of the Reformation, runs until October 31.
