Recycling is on the cards

TORIES are urging Scots to do all they can to recycle their Christmas cards.

It is estimated that Scots send 100 million cards each year, and Scottish Conservative environment spokesman, Jamie McGrigor, said: "Many supermarkets will be providing bins for members of the public to dispose of their cards. Some retailers are also working with charities such as the Woodland Trust Scotland, who are pledging to plant new woodlands in return for recycled cards."
