A LUNCHTIME concert in honour of the 65th birthday of Burmese democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi is to be held in Edinburgh on 19 June.

Proceeds from the piano and cello recital at the Danish Cultural Institute in Doune Terrace will go to Amnesty International and Dr Cynthia's Clinic for Burmese refugees in Thailand.
Tickets, which cost 8, are available on the door. The concert begins at noon.
