Reality TV show star Keith to show true colours as Joseph

REALITY television star Keith Jack has landed the role of Joseph – three years after he lost out in a national contest to win the title.

The 21-year-old from Dalkeith will tour Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat musical later this year.

The former Telford College student shot to fame when he reached the final of BBC's Any Dream Will Do competition in 2007 but lost out to Lee Mead.

He said he'd prepared hard for the role, adding: "I am going to the gym six days a week so I am pretty confident about my body.

"It is strange though to think I will finally be doing Joseph.

"I look back on Any Dream Will Do and I don't think I was ready for it then.

"I feel in the two or three years that have gone by I have really grown up and am more prepared to take on a lead like Joseph now – and I know all the songs."
