Rare tiger 'killed plantation worker'

A SUMATRAN tiger reportedly killed a 52-year-old Indonesian plantation worker, hospital officials in the south of the island said yesterday.

The World Wildlife Fund says there are only 400 Sumatran tigers left, down from around 1,000 in the 1970s.
