Tunisian police have arrested a rap singer who released a song criticising the policies of president Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali, his brother said yesterday.

Police arrested Hamada Ben-Amor, 22, late on Thursday in the coastal city of Sfax, Hamdi Ben-Amor said.
He is known to fans as The General and last week released a song online titled "President, your people are dying".
