Rapist father jailed for 14,400 years

A PHILIPPINE court sentenced a father to 14,400 years in jail for the serial rape of his teenage daughter over a year.

A trial court had condemned the rickshaw driver to die after he was convicted of 360 counts of rape carried out while his wife worked in Hong Kong. But the appeal court in Manila commuted the sentence to 40 years for each count.
