Rangers star tells court of attack on car

RANGERS star Kyle Lafferty has told a court how he is subjected to abuse, much of it sectarian in nature, on an almost daily basis.

The 6ft 4in striker said he will always try to ignore it, adding “it’s the only way”, but revealed he is very often embarrassed by what can be shouted at him.

The Ibrox player made the comments as he gave evidence against a teenager charged with assaulting him by throwing a stone at him at a filling station in Johnstone, Renfrewshire.
