Rail returns to Dunbar

SCOTRAIL trains will return to Dunbar from next Monday after a 20-year gap, with the two return trips a day to Edinburgh seen as the first step towards an hourly service.

There will also be a 10:08pm Edinburgh-Dunbar train from Mondays to Thursdays – one hour later than the current last service. The East Lothian station is at present only served by infrequent East Coast and CrossCountry trains.
