Race is on for share of cash

COMMUNITY groups have until June 29 to apply for a share of a £5000 funding pot.

The community bursary programme run by Edinburgh-based Ross and Liddell aims to give financial support to Capital clubs and organisations.

Irene Devenny, managing director at Ross and Liddell, said: “Last year we were able to support 22 groups which have all benefited from the money awarded.”
