Queensferry set for switch-on

A BUMPER crowd is expected to turn out for the Christmas lights switch-on in Queensferry next Tuesday.

More than 1,000 revellers will attend the festive bash that will be scored with music from the Queensferry Community Brass Band.

Crowds are advised to assemble at the main car park area from 5pm.

A small procession led by Santa's sleigh will leave from the west end of the High Street beyond the junction with the Loan. The event is expected to finish at 7.30pm.
