Queen in dock for monarch's visit

Hundreds of people lined the quayside at Southampton to welcome Cunard's new 92,000-tonne Queen Elizabeth liner on her first visit to her home port.

Built in Italy, the 400 million ship will be officially named at Southampton by the Queen on Monday. The next day the 964ft vessel will depart on its maiden voyage - a 13-day cruise.
