QMU up for green prizes

QUEEN Margaret University has been shortlisted for top environmental awards.

The campus on the outskirts of Edinburgh has been voted a finalist in the overall environmental management category and the green buildings and facilities category in the Green Business Awards 2010. The winners will be announced in London on November 2.

At the same time, it has been short-listed for a Scottish Green Award in the public sector provision category.
