"Our extensive collections cover archaeology, Scottish history, the natural world, science, technology, world cultures, design, art and fashion. We worked creatively using these fantastic resources to develop a diverse range of activity that brings the curriculum to life."

Create Your Own Exhibition taps into a wide variety of skills from literacy to enterprise as children are encouraged to work with museum curators, designers and conservators to develop and market their own exhibition.

Primary school pupils will also be able to attend workshops including Viking training school at the National Museum of Scotland on Chambers Street.
