Among the items on display will be a 700-year-old letter believed to have been in the Wallace’s possession, and the Lübeck letter, written in 1297 assuring continental allies Scotland was “open for business”.

The exhibition, which involved schools from across Scotland, has been developed in partnership with National Records of Scotland.
