Pupils learn about crime and punishment

LIBERTON High School is currently running a book week on the theme of crime and punishment.

For the past 19 years the school has been running its successful book week, which includes speakers, activities and workshops to engage the young people in the school.

This year they will share the knowledge they gain from the variety of authors and presenters with users of online teaching resource Glow Scotland. The week started with Geoff Holder, a writer of non-fiction books on mysteries and the paranormal, before moving on to forensic science with former policewoman Karen Campbell.
