Pupils ‘lack road sense’

POLICE have been urged to take action after complaints were made about high school pupils who cross the road carelessly while out of lessons at lunchtime.

Neighbours complained to local officers about the behaviour of pupils from North Berwick High School who disregard crossing procedures on the East Lothian town’s Law Road. Residents have also complained about littering by the youngsters while out of school during the lunch break.

The issues have been identified as “community priorities” for officers to tackle, as well as dog fouling in Dundas Road, Lochbridge Road and Brodie Avenue and parking problems in Lochbridge Road and at Glen Golf Club.
