Pupils given bike award

FOUR East Lothian primary schools have been honoured for their dedication to peddle-power.

Dunbar Primary, Haddington Infant School, Longniddry Primary and Windygoul Primary all achieved "Cycle-Friendly" status last week - the first in the county to receive the accolade.

The award was presented by Cycling Scotland, a government-funded body designed to encourage people to get on their bikes.
