Pupil turns heads riding to school on his new unicycle

A SCHOOLBOY has been turning heads amongst his classmates – by arriving for lessons on his unicycle.

David Hall was given the unusual gift for Christmas, and the 12-year-old mastered the art of riding it within ten days.

Now the first-year pupil rides his unicycle to Inveralmond High School every day, much to the amusement of classmates and teachers.

It’s not the first bizarre gift David, of Livingston, West Lothian, has received as a present as mum and dad Fiona and Thomas has also given him five chickens and a stuffed animal head in the past.

Fiona said: “He’s never been off it since he got it, and, to be honest, he had it nailed within just ten days of first getting on it.

“He was getting a bit frustrated with it, but after watching a couple of YouTube clips it all just clicked.

“His classmates and teachers all love it, but I just don’t
know how we will top it next year.”
