Pub looks to extend

POPULAR Morningside pub The Merlin has applied for an extension.

The pub is continuing its upmarket drive with plans for the new metallic extension.

If approved, the extension will be built at the back of the pub, overlaying an existing dining terrace that is currently used by smokers.

An additional open space will be provided for smokers.
