£800k for child fund

A FUND to help improve children's lives has been launched by the Children's Minister.

Adam Ingram announced the Early Years and Early Action Fund during a visit to family support projects in north Edinburgh yesterday.

Children 1st will be given around 75,000 in 2010-11 and around 245,000 for each of the next three financial years to run the new parenting training service.
