£56,000 of cannabis found in raid on flat

CANNABIS worth around £56,000 has been found in a flat in Edinburgh.

Police said yesterday they found herbal cannabis and 260 cannabis plants when they raided a flat in the Newington area of the city on Saturday. Nobody was in the flat at the time and a spokesman said officers were trying to trace two suspects who had been renting the property.
