£54k grant fit for purpose

HEALTH and fitness organisations in West Lothian have been awarded £54,000, which will allow the First STEPs programme to be extended.

The health scheme’s overall aim is to get more people who need support to exercise. It has proved popular since it was introduced and has helped more than 5500 people since 1997. It is supported by West Lothian Leisure and the West Lothian Community Health and Care Partnership, which have provided the extra funding.
